for those of us who have experienced life outside of the state of New York living in New York city is hell on earth! unlike others who grew up here and never left we have traveled the world and seen other places to see how this city is honestly and truly is ashamed it is crumbling right in front of our eyes. this city has the potential to be so great and yet it is left to fall apart. this city is filled with drug uses and corruption when money should be spent on fixing the broken parts of this town instead the corruptions run so deep that this city is quiet frankly crumbling and falling apart as someone who only been here a little over a year I cannot see myself continuing living in these types of environments it is shamed to say New York is apart of America because the people currently running it has abandoned this city and state and has let it fallen and crumbling. to be a state and city depending on tourism things should be way better the quality of life here should be above average instead it is below below BELOW average. the things you see here and are exposed to on a regular basis is traumatizing to say the least. the quality of life for an average new yorker is below the American standards I regret everyday bringing me and my  children to such a state I thought so highly of to only be further traumatized and see a different dark side of America. I ask myself where are all the money going to fix up this city? why does this city look like this? it doesn't take much to make a city look better! this city should be so far ahead of other cities being that it is the largest but it is so corrupted that it has been abandoned if you are a New Yoker you should want your city to look and feel different than its current conditions New York has potential to be so much greater than this

As I look around New York there is nothing here that I can wholeheartedly say makes me want to stay living here

the quality of life is so bad coming from Florida and living 6 years in Canada I am shocked

not only is the quality of life bad but the people are extremely predatory

the level of corruption in this city and state is earth shattering since April 2024 I have been praying Jesus makes a way for me and my children to leave this god awful place

2. fix the wide corruption in our government agencies.. we have lost faith in the government due to the corruption we need a major clean up to gain our trust back the American people are fed up! 
3. increase all benefits amounts and easier benefit processes to allow people to have access to incomes more faster!
4. fix the housing crisis! we can do this by remodeling old and abandoned homes across our nation making them new again and giving families opportunities to live in them at times rent free! build more homes like now!
5. stop dividing our country.. we should all come together from both sides to make our beloved MERICA great bro! instead of fighting each other lets start working together and fixing what is actually broken in this country!
6. fixing infrastructure NATIONWIDE!
7. having a standard of living for every city and state: making sure everyone has access to basics and income while living in this country we need to show other countries that we are leaders and our people are living a high quality of life no matter what part of the country they are in. we need to hold cities accountable for low quality of life of their residents we need to have a yearly meeting or conference to hold each city accountable who falls below the standard of quality of life their residents should have and hold them accountable.

WHY DO PARTS OF NEW YORK LOOKS LIKE THIRD WORLD COUNTRIES?

since moving to NYC /NY state me and my children's quality of life has deteriorate. this state is by far the worst place I have ever lived in my whole entire  life some areas scare me and look like third world countries as much as I loved America I just cannot believe we have places that looks like this in our very backyard. especially in thee new York. there is a real racial divide in this city and state and you can see it and feel it. the way the system is  chaotic and this state is honestly not running well. yes today me and y son went to Brownsville near Livonia Ave. and as soon as we got off the train and was waiting for busses my son started telling me mom I am scared what we witnessed in a short 30 mins was life altering. we just couldn't believe this is the state of America. this quality of life or lifestyle is not acceptable for anyone let alone low income families. I urge tourist who are visiting NYC to take a train ride to Livonia Ave and see the true state of the inequality and poverty in America it is truly shameful. New York can do better to provide a higher quality of life for its residents. I understand some areas face inequality but this is unacceptable and truly shameful. how can new York pride itself on being one of the biggest city in America but yet their ghettos look like third world countries.. shouldn't we be an example to other countries? and don't tell me we do not have enough money to fix these problems because we do! I was truly shocked by what I witness on Livonia Ave in Brooklyn . as we also got on the bus there was about 30 people waiting for one bus at one bus stop and as the bus approached it was already fully filled to capacity. me and my son had to squeeze inside and hang on for dear life. the bus driver couldn't even open the front doors to let more people in it felt like we were slaves on a slave boat. I just couldn't fathom this is America. when you visit Brownsville you feel the love from the people but the environment is not matching the people more can be done to give these people a better quality of life. they deserve a better standard of living. as an outsider coming in to see how these people are treated and what they have to endure just for their basic daily life is saddening to say the least. shouldn't America be doing more? aren't we the best countries in the world? we have unlimited money we have enough money to rebuild and fix every corner in brownsville. my heart breaks for the children having to grow up in these environments thinking this is the norm when its not! my son who is 15 yrs old was petrified. growing up in the south I have lived in some ghettos but they were never as bad as New York's ghettos its truly truly sad. this is another reason why I pray everyday to leave this state with my children this is not the quality of life I want for my children i feel sorry for children for moving them to this state. another question I have is where is the outraged and protest for a better quality of life by these high profile activist for Brownsville. why do they overlook the people in these ghettos? do they not matter? what has this quality of life become the norm in ny? its 2025 I feel changes need to be made now! I am truly sadden living in this state I want a better quality of life for me and my children I pray for Jesus Christ to help us move out of this chaotic state of New York! in 2020 I was living in Canada during COVID. with nothing to do our family would watch the news constantly. and almost everyday we would see Mr. Cuomo talking to us(the public) and keeping us calmed during a pandemic. as someone living in Canada to see a leader in New York  keeping the public calmed even in other countries I was impressed. the way he handled everything was outstanding! he made New York appear really good to the rest of the world who was also watching.. WHAT IT WAS LIKE LIVING IN OTTAWA,CANADA AS A YOUNG BLACK WOMAN WITH KIDS

I was 2 months pregnant when I listened to "family" and moved to Canada.

my "family" lived in the Ottawa area so we settled there. Ottawa is the capital of Canada.

when I moved there I knew nothing about their country.

I trusted my family members and moved they used immigration as fear to have me move there while 2 months  pregnant.

I soon find out my "family" were not genuine people and it was basically a trap to hurt me legally and have stuck in a foreign unknown country with my children.

from the very beginning the Canadian government got involved in controlling our family while I was pregnant living in a shelter in an unknown place with my children.

they had people always come to monitor me and my children while living in their shelters I was flat out vulnerable and scared living in an unknown country

the weather was extremely cold and it was a very hard adjustment as I grew up in the south in Florida since I was 7 years old.

my children and I eventually got placed In a home my sons would be repeatedly bullied in their school systems and called names yes the n word

it felt awkward as a black woman living there and feeling the way they view blacks and treated black woman. to put into words I never felt free Living in Ottawa always felt controlled and especially by white woman who I viewed as a young black woman as not equal. this was the very first time I ever experienced racism. which was a very shocking thing for me.

 growing up in the south in Florida I never experienced any racism I have always been treated like family by whites and race was never an issue I did not see race. until I moved to Ottawa. we knew little about their government and healthcare. I was followed by healthcare workers from a clinic steps away from their parliament. I trusted these people and thought highly of them until I realized they would be laughing at me and harming me intentionally. when you are a newcomer to their country you are unaware of what exactly goes on there and they took advantage of me and my children. the clinic staff I remember vividly forcely put me on depot shots against my will I have never been on birth control they made decisions about my healthcare they treated me like I was not a human being. because I was a black woman and not equal to them. they were all older white women and would do things to my body. I was so scared as I did not know anything about their country and felt extremely vulnerable. they used government agencies to repeatedly control my life I was forced for six months to live in a woman shelter were I had bed bugs bite me and things done to me. the woman at the shelter told me to not go to their clinic and I was taken back and asked why they told me they hurt people there and it started to make sense to me that all I have experienced since coming to Ottawa they were my healthcare provider and even when I was living in the woman shelters they would show up. I felt trapped in their cycle of abuses and being controlled in Ottawa I never felt free. while living in Ottawa woman shelters I found employment I would get up early mornings and go to work full time. and let's just say I was the only black woman working in their office and the white woman abused me mentally severely and have gotten away with it til this day. I was just trying to work and take care of my children. they made me sign legal documents without ever telling me I needed a lawyer. the most scariest thing that happened to me while living in Ottawa was me and my children were Living in a hotel the city put us in and someone unknown called and said I did something which I never did. I was never asked any questions I was taken to a Ottawa police vehicle not knowing why I was there separated from my children still no reasons given handcuffed droved to a hospital where they handcuffed me to a bed both my hands and both my legs handcuffed to this bed while I lay there thinking to myself what did I  do to deserve this. I had nobody my mom was never notified or my family. they came in the room video me while I was laying there handcuffed and crying not understanding what is going on they came in the room laughing at me I felt so powerless as a black woman and at their mercy. my rights were never read to me they never told me what the call was about I was so scared I never in my life experienced anything like this but it happened in Ottawa Canada their capital. after that experienced I was repeatedly abused by their police for no reason I started filing complaints to no avail. the first complaint I filed I had their officers showed up at my door steps to tell me to withdraw my complaints I was a black woman in a foreign country alone with my three children. they knew I had nobody and abused me repeatedly. I felt if I was in America none of this would have taken place to me and my children. my very own family set me up to go live in this foreign country. my very own uncles did this to me to legally harm me.  my very own aunts laughed at me while I was facing abuses. I know to the world Ottawa portrays an image of not being racist but in reality they very much are. I then realized not all white people are the same. because the whites in the south treated me equally while the whites in Ottawa were severely racist.  in Canada as a black woman I felt voiceless I felt these people could do anything to me and my children even kill me and my voice would never be heard. I filed a lawsuit against their government for these abuses I faced and the very next day I was arrested as retaliation. I feel as a black woman I never matter I face a repeated cycle of abuses even now living in New York I have faced the very same types of abuses all related. its a network of people doing the harm to me. I wonder if me and my children will ever live an abuse free life. I urger all newcomers to Canada to leave. the Canadian government abuses its very own residences and preys on newcomers severely. we as newcomers are taken advantage of to have a better life. the life in Canada is a very miserable one. besides the extreme weather you will experience severe racism. being followed, abused and controlled and when you speak up they will certainly abuse you more. they expect black people to just be quiet and not speak up to any abuses. I hope more immigrants and newcomers leave Canada because if they did this to me what else would they do to you and your family.  I will be doing a part 2 of my life in Ottawa soon ..

I AM TRULY NOT HAPPY LIVING HERE I AM TRAUMATIZED

As a 34 yr old Black woman with kids I am truly traumatized living in New York and my wish is to leave and move back to Florida my home state

for over a year I had experienced truly traumatizing abuses while living in their shelter system with my children as I had no resources and kept from receiving basic food assistance. while living in  shelter called WIN shelter in Brooklyn I was abused severely and taken advantage of multiple times it was also in a very scary area for me. I was lied on and abused despite my complaints the city did nothing and the more I complained the more happen to me and my children. we came here last April 2024 and within less than a month we had a false cps case. when I told them I wanted to leave and go back to Florida they have since used this case to repeatedly abused me and my children and to keep us living here and abuse us more. I have been subjected to caseworkers yelling at me and my children  belittling me living in this state using their positions and roles to further abuse our family. they use government agencies to further abuse and try to control our family. as a black woman this is the same reasons why I left Canada to only come to New York and face the same abuses I am truly truly not happy living here I see how they treat black mothers in this system and I am disgusted  and I do believe in Jesus Christ and I am hoping soon one day he helps me leave I don't think I will ever forgive New York for the amount of abuses that was allowed to happened to our family. when I was approached by another black mother who was born in New York she told me this is what they have always done to black mothers and their children CPS/ACS should be shameful of their actions that have traumatized me and my children. AS A BLACK WOMAN AND MOTHER LIVING IN THIS STATE I DO NOT FEEL FREE I FEEL LIKE A SLAVE LIVING ON A PLANTATION in NYC and state > I am asking for my freedom to choose where I want to live and raise my children I am truly not happy here I pray for this everyday to be able to leave this state I will never forgive them.

once you decided to leave this pattern of being used and mentally abuse they will do anything to keep the control over you. they will abuse you in different ways that's invisible to the naked eye 

they will find ways to hurt you financially, mentally, emotionally, and physically to not let you walk away from them. because as women we are seen as their property 

and we aren't allowed to choose ourselves and walk away from a relationships that is mentally harming us. they want us to accept their abuses and humiliations and accept being belittled. the moment you choose to leave and walk away they do will do a lot of things  to harm you and your body. they will do anything to destroy your mental health they do not want to see you doing good without them. ladies if you are in these types of relationships please leave safely and be prepared for the further abuses they will attempt to do in your life for walking away. yet they portray a good image to the world as being a good men when they have done things to repeatedly destroy us as women. take heed ladies regardless of the situation always choose yourself

inmates are in need of more programs to stimulate their minds we can make this happen we are advocating for more educational programs and reentry programs where sentences would be reduced if they have good behavior and complete some programs we should be helping inmates better themselves most of inmates battle mental health and we have to address this they need access to mental health resources and more programs not just any programs but those with sentence reductions its time inmates get a second chance and are treated equally even while in jail/prisons we have enough fundings and resources to make this happen no excuses!!!!! more education programs more opportunity for sentences to be reduced nation-wide  Canada inmates also

REDUCE SENTENCES FOR NON SEXUAL CRIME OFFENDERS INCLUDING THOSE SENTENCE TO LIFE w/o PAROLE

some of these men never had access to mental health or anger management most of the crimes committed by most offenders are due to mental health if offenders aren't convicted of sexual crimes allow these men to get a second chance. these men can work and do more for our communities and give back but we just have them sitting down in a place not doing anything we need more programs to allow them opportunities to experience life outside of prison if they have good behavior we as a nation including Canada can make major changes we need to start seeing inmates as our extended family who need a little more help. we can do more no excuses also increase the safety in prisons too many inmates are facing life altering injuries while in prison we have to do more to protect inmates while in custody no excuses!!!!!!!!!! this goes for both countries we have to ensure all inmates safety  *UPDATE THANK YOU NEW YORK FOR GIVING SOME INMATES SECOND CHANCES
